Unlike other Chinese food restaurants, China House has a website. I love being able to see what I order and how much I am going to pay for it. The food was ready when my confirmation text told me it would be and loved that I was able to pay online. Upon pick up, I was greeted with a friendly smile from the cashier. And the food is like no other...FRESH! Not only was everything delicious, everything tasted fresh and freshly cooked with servings big enough for leftovers. Best Chinese restaurant around...worth the 15 minute drive even when there is a restaurant 2 minutes from my home.

I don’t typically order Chinese food but when we do, it’s only for the chicken wings, spring rolls and crab Rangoon all of a sudden tonight the sauce is not included with the crab Rangoon really whoever would want to eat that without sauce had to call and make a return trip not OK not going back!!!! ////owner responded sorry for the inconvenience however, it states clearly on our wall that you have to ask for the sauce. I’m a bit confused. How would I know that if I ordered it for pick up?

Giving tis place a 5 stars on food for a few reasons. First time trying it out and the boneless spareribs are great. I DO NOT like ginger but tasted it in the pork fried rice and it definitely complimented the ribs. Got the Pu Pu platter and the steak on the stick had a ridiculously great flavor(cooked to Jerky but sooo good!) They used a real peice of steak for it! Not that soggy stuff you hope is beef! All in all a pretty decent spot. Even adjusted the Pu Pu platter because there was something I didn't like on it and they added a similar item already on the platter for me without a surcharge. Definitely coming back!

****UPDATE 12.20.23**** I don't know if this place changed hands but the past 2 times I've ordered from here the food hasn't been as good. Last night I ordered Beef Mei Fun which was supposed to be beef with rice noodles and instead I got chewy beef with angel hair pasta. Maybe their usual clientele can't tell the difference but I can, since I love Chinese food and I've had the same dish elsewhere. I'm not sure what they're trying to pull over on people using a cheaper ingredient. They could have called me and told me they ran out of rice noodles and they'd be substituting. They could have also told me when I picked up my order! Also, what's with the Fort Knox decor when you walk in? The counter is completely closed and framed in with glass. Hey, I understand Covid is still around but this is a bit much. Even during the height of the pandemic, this restaurant didn't take the same drastic measure. So again due to these new developments, I wonder if the restaurant changed hands at some point because the quality of the food and the decor has drastically changed.
